STEM Toy ideas from Brainstorm Toys this Christmas

*We were sent items from Brainstorm Toys for the purpose of this post.

STEM Toys are brilliant at encouraging kids to develop their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, which is why they are they are so popular. Anything that encourages my boys to learn new skills and spark their creativity and imagination is a big plus for me.

Here are some STEM Toy ideas from Brainstorm Toys

Cosmic Glow Dinosaurs

Perfect for dino fans out there, these self-adhesive, glow in the dark dinosaurs would make a great addition to kids bedrooms.

StikBot Mega Monsters

StikBots, the multi-award-winning stop-frame animation toy would make great stocking fillers. They are poseable figures with suction cup feet. Combine this with the StikBot app, and you can create your own animations. Great for the budding little directors out there.

EUGY 3D Models

For those that love getting crafty, there are these 3D models from EUGY that come in a range of different styles. Made from environmentally friendly, biodegradable card, you simply fix the pieces together by number. It’s a fab activity to do together, and it is great for fine-tuning motor skills.

Addict A Ball Maze

The name of the game says it all, this 3D puzzle feature 138 stages and the game aims to guide the ball from start to finish through various spirals, swinging arms, flips and slides. I think this will be a hit for both kids and adults alike.

Sea Creatures Projector & Nightlight

A projector that also doubles up as a nightlight, this features 24 sea creature images including sharks, whales, fish penguins. Projecting images up to one metre wide onto walls and ceilings.

2 in 1 Globe Earth & Constellations

Be wowed by this 2 in 1 globe that shows earth by day and transforms into a super cool constellation globe at night. There’s a light sensor that automatically turns the globe to night feature when dark. This globe is fun, educational and interactive, making it a great learning tool for school-aged children.
