Slimming World #3

I’ve had a pretty rubbish week last week what with it being the time of the month (tmi) amongst other things. I was constantly feeling hungry and all I wanted to do was eat cake (I really really craved cake!) but somehow I managed to stick to mostly stick to my meal plan.  I went out for lunch to Strada on Monday lunchtime and stuck with the Chicken Caesar salad. Most days I didn’t use any of my syns as I knew I’d be out having drinks on friday evening.  I was very good and stuck to 3 gin and slimline tonics although I was a little naughty that day as my friend popped round with some delicious salted caramel cupcakes which considering I was craving cake all week I found very hard to resist. I only had half though.

How did I do?

Total loss to date: -10lb

After no change last week I’m so pleased that I have lost 3lb.

30 Day Shred
I only managed one workout last week which is absolutely shameful. Just goes to show how having a bad week can alter your mood and mindset.

Favourite Meal of the week
The Harissa Chicken was my favourite meal last week. We had it with rice and courgette instead of dauphonois potatoes.

Meal plan for next week

Monday

Breakfast – Special K
Lunch – Ham sandwich
Dinner – Chicken Kiev with potato wedges, sugar snap peas, carrots and baby corn

Tuesday

Breakfast – Poached eggs on toast
Lunch – Chicken drumsticks with salad
DinnerPork escalope with swede mash

Wednesday

Breakfast – Beans on toast
Lunch – Chickpea salad
Dinner – Spanish omlette and chips

Thursday

Breakfast – Boiled egg and soldiers
Lunch – Jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn
Dinner – Cod provencal with new potatoees

Friday

Breakfast –  Special K
Lunch – Jacket potato and tuna
Dinner – Tuna nicoise salad
