Slimming World #2

sw-wk2
So two weeks in and its been a good week (of sorts). Physically I have felt more of a difference in myself which is probably partly to do with the 30 Day Shred workouts.

I was doing really well all week. I went see Ed Sheeran on the friday night so made sure I made my SW meal beforehand and ate early with the boys but then on the way home I succumbed to a McDonalds!! NOT GOOD!

How did I do?

0lb

Total loss to date: -7lb

This was pretty much expected this week considering such an amazing loss last week and the naughty McDonalds on friday night! I am going to focus on the positives though, at least wasn’t a gain and that I have managed to maintain the 7lb loss.

30 Day Shred
The idea of this was to workout 20 minutes a day. However, I only managed 3 times last week which although is not a great start but I can already feel the difference. My tummy muscles already feel a little firmer. I will aim to do this for the full week this week.

Favourite Meal of the week
I loved the Pork meatballs in roasted vegetable sauce. They we so delicious that I rustled them up again on sunday for us all to enjoy together as a family. They were a hit with the boys and great because they contained hidden veggies! The Dauphonois potatoes we had with our sausage cassoulet on friday was also very yummy and something I think will be a regular on the menu.

Meal plan for next week
I’m looking forward to trying the Coq Au Vin and the Harissa Chicken as they sound yummy and I love eating meat off the bone! I am also going to try and not have any syns during the week apart from Monday lunchtime as I am eating out with some colleagues (a first since starting Slimming World) and on Friday I am out for drinks with school mums so will save my syns for a few G&T’s.
