Steril-eeze: sanitiser that is kind to your hands

The COVID-19 pandemic has seen many changes in the way we live our lives. We’ve not been able to see family or friends and have had to spend more time than we ever have, at home. I found it really tough when school’s closed back in March. Having to work and homeschool wasn’t easy and the boys really missed the social interaction with their school friends.

Washing our hands regularly became second nature as it is paramount to reducing any viruses and bacteria from being spread around. Obviously, when the boys were at home, they were able to wash their hands with ease. Now they’re both back at school (hurrah!), although they do still wash their hands regularly, they both take travel-sized sanitisers so that they can use them whenever they need to, to keep their hands clean.

As a result, poor M’s hands have been very rough, dry and sore. In addition to taking in hand sanitiser, he also had to take in a mini bottle of hand moisturiser to stop them from drying out to put the moisture back into his hands.

Introducing Steril-eeze – sanitiser that is kind to your hands

We were recently sent a sanitising bundle from Steril-eeze to try. Unlike other sanitisers, Steril-eeze is alcohol-free, instantly making it kinder to hands and suitable for sensitive skin and children. It contains hypochlorous and kills 99.99% of viruses and bacteria without irritating or dehydrating the skin.

This was music to my ears! Upon finding this out, I switched the boy’s sanitiser to Steril-eeze and since M has been using it, his hands have been looking so much better.

My husband suffers from atopic eczema, whenever he uses alcohol-based sanitiser on his hands it really stings, but he did not have any issues when using Steril-eeze. It didn’t hurt at all, reinforcing the fact that Steril-eeze really is kinder to your hands!

As well as sanitising your hands, Steril-eeze can also be used on surfaces, I have been using it to sanitise the worktops in our kitchen.

Who can use Steril-eeze?

  • Everyone including children
  • Those who have sensitive or easily irritated skin
  • People with skin conditions such as dermatitis and eczema
  • Those whose skin has been affected by the use of alcohol-based sanitisers

We have been really impressed with Steril-eeze, I really like the fact it is alcohol-free. It has stopped my youngest sons hands from being dry and sore and means my husband can use sanitiser without it stinging his hands. All whilst safe in the knowledge that Steril-eeze is doing its job, killing 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.
