Review: CarGoSeat 2-in-1 booster seat and travel suitcase

Yes, you did the read title right. CarGoSeat is a 2-in-1 booster travel seat that also doubles up as a pull-along travel suitcase. It is ideal for when you are on your travels with kids. In the past, we have packed inflatable booster seats in our luggage for use with our holiday hire car but using the CarGoSeat would mean I’d be able to free up some much-needed space in our luggage. The fact that the CarGoSeat also doubles up as a travel suitcase means that my boys can take their own hand luggage onboard a plane packed with the all the bits they need for their flight.

The CarGoSeat 2-in-1 booster seat and travel suitcase comes in four colours: Purple, Green, Pink and Blue. It’s lightweight and easy to use and it took me a matter of seconds to pop the arms up on each side and fit into my car. It’s just as easy to transform back into a suitcase, simply by pushing the arms back down on each side of the seat and pulling out the pull-along handle at the back.

The suitcase has 10 litres of space and has no metal parts, allowing kids to use them safely. M had no problem opening and closing the clasp and was delighted to be able to fill the case with books so he could pull it along and pretend he was going on holiday!

Our thoughts on the CarGoSeat

I really love the fact that the CarGoSeat has a dual purpose and eliminates the need to pack a booster seat separately when you’re on your travels. I’m not entirely sure if the seat will be overly comfortable for long journeys as the case is made of sturdy plastic with only a thin washable seat pad. I’d like to have the option to perhaps have a more cushioned seat pad that you can attach on for added comfort and some stickers to personalise them would also be a nice touch. M is really impressed with how easy it is to use though and cannot wait to use it on our next holiday.

The CarGoSeat costs £54.99 and is available to buy through their website where they are currently offering running a launch offer where you can receive £5 off.
