Back to School and the September Sun – Living Arrows 37/52
It was the first week back to school for the boys last week. M has gone into Year 2 and E into Year 5 and they both seem to be settling in well. It’s been hard getting back into routine after the summer and also our holiday but thankfully there were no tears. E seems to have suddenly decided he wants to be more independent and has asked us whether he can start walking to and from school by himself. I’m not quite ready for it just yet but may start allowing him to walk ahead of us in the Spring term.
We spent the weekend enjoying the September sun. We went to a friends house for a barbecue on Saturday and we spent Sunday at home. I was painting the woodwork in our hallway upstairs while the boy had a lazy one in front of the TV. We ended the day with a barbecue and toasted marshmallows – the best way to end a barbecue!
I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky

They both look so smart in their school uniforms – glad to hear they’ve settled back in well #LivingArrows
That barbecue looks lovely! I’m not sure I’ll ever be ready for the children to walk to school by themselves – I know that time will be here before I know it! x
