My dream home office
Although I work in the office three day a week, my fourth working day is usually at home. With blogging added into the mix, it means I desperately need to rent a shared office space or create my own home office area. I need somewhere I can hide to concentrate and more importantly somewhere I can store all the paperwork, packages and to-do lists that are currently littering my dining room.
If I had my way I would love a whole room all to myself where I can close the door and leave the rest of the house behind. However, that is not going to happen unless we move house.
Instead, I need to find space somewhere in this house of mine to create a small home office. I’ve been having a look around at the items I would need for this dream home – have a look and let me know what you think.
Desk
Every home office must start with a desk, right? I love the look of this one from Argos. I’m a serial hoarder and am not very good at keeping things minimalist so I would need the storage available here to hide all my mess!
Office chair
I think this chair, which is also from Argos would complement the desk well. I like the fact that it’s on castors and has a chrome base too.
Stationery
You can’t have a home office without stationery! If I could get away with it I would probably spend a huge chunk of cash in Paperchase. I absolutely love this Butterfly Magazine File which would be perfect for storing all my paperwork.
Engelbert Strauss have a great selection of office supplies, I love that are really affordable and would of course, help me keep on top of my many to-do lists.
Then, I would need some matching stationery like this set from Wilkos
Framed prints
My desk area would not be complete without some inspirational quotes to motivate me. I love these ones from Zazzle.
What do you have in your home office?
