A cosy kitchen?

It may well be Summer now and so it’s not too much of an issue but I have bad circulation which means my hands and feet are always cold!

The thing is… I’m a bit weird and much prefer to be too cold than too hot. I wear slippers because my feet are cold but then I have to kick them off a while later because my feet get too hot and I don’t like it!

I’ve probably mentioned before that we are in dire need of updating our kitchen. I absolutely hate it with a passion and regularly dream about what I would do with the space if money was no object.

One thing I would definitely want to have is underfloor heating. A cottage we stayed at in Wales a couple of years ago had it and it was just perfect. Previously, I never saw the point as I was convinced it wouldn’t actually heat the room much but surprisingly it did. It also meant that my feet were kept lovely and warm without the need for slippers either – amazing!

Underfloor Heating Trade Supplies have put together a survey to find out what people think about underfloor heating. If you have a spare couple of minutes it would be great if you could fill it in. You can view the survey here.

I thought for a minute that was your kitchen and I was going to ask if I could move in with you 😉 My husband has very poor circulation and so I sympathise with you – it’s not fun. I’ll see if I can get the survey filled in for you. #KCACOLS

  2. I was reading your comment about hating your kitchen thinking that the photo you posted was your kitchen and my mouth was WIDE open – like how can you hate that lol!! i would love underfloor heating too, but we have a new build so wouldnt change that here. I’d love to have it in our ‘forever house’ whenever we can afford to buy ‘it’ – Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next Sunday

  3. We have underfloor heating in our bathroom and I love it – I’ve no idea what we did without it! I’d love it in our new kitchen when it gets done but I’d fear for our electricity bill #KCACOLS

  4. I simply love that kitchen. It is stunning. I love underfloor heating for tiled or wooden floor. It always consider it to be an unaffordable luxury and something that is reserved for really posh hotels though. Pen x #KCACOLS
