Read with me – April 2015 round up

read-with-me-new

We’re into Read with me’s second month! It’s been a busy April in the Suburban Mum household and the year just seems to be flying by far too quickly for my liking. Have a read through my reads for April and hopefully see you back again next month!

The Deaf Daddy’s Blog
This is a relatively new blog of someone who suffered hearing loss since birth, worried about his appearance, the hearing aids were put away for 17 years until his son came along. He writes about his concerns as to whether the condition would be passed onto his newborn son.

I LOVED this post from Alison over at Not another mummy blog! It’s so true and I now realise why doing simple day-to-day tasks sometimes take me so long! Definitely worth a read if you are blogger. @alisonperryblog

10 tips for staying sane and not raising an asshole
Some fantastic tips from Scary Mommy here – number 9 in particular for me I think is very important.  @scarymommy

This is what motherhood did to me
You may well have already seen this on The Huffington Post but I wanted to share anyway. Ashli writes about how becoming a mum changed her for the better –  I’m sure all mums can relate to this. @ashlimazer
