Our Favourite Five – June
It’s almost the end of June and the sun keeps disappearing – what is with that? Having said that, as I write this my patio doors are wide open and I have my washing out on the line. E is on day 5 of chickenpox and thankfully other than feeling itchy he has taken the whole thing in his stride. Most of his spots are scabbing over now so I am hopeful he will be back at school next week and doesn’t miss school transfer day. Still, no sign of chickenpox with M though so he may either have escaped it this time round OR he’ll be in for another week of being housebound and will miss out on going to Night Garden Live next week. We shall see…
1. Little Tikes Pirate Water table

This water table has definitely been one of the boy’s favourites this month. They have spent many hours playing with this and getting completely soaked. It was a bargain from eBay too!
2. E’s first Sports Day

It was so cute watching E and all his classmates at Sport’s Day. It made me realise how small they still are. It was lovely watching them take part in all the events and cheer each other on.
3. Jurassic World

Hubby and I managed a date night a couple of weeks ago where we went to dinner and a movie. Our movie of choice? The new Jurassic World – and we loved it! It has a good storyline and there were enough action-packed dino scenes to keep any dinosaur fans in their seats! I can’t wait to watch it again with E when it’s released on DVD.
4. Shark

Have I mentioned that E’s new obsession of late is Sharks? He knows a lot of the different types (there are over 510 different species!) and he now spends a lot of his time drawing them, looking at them in books or watching them on TV. He is currently hooked on watching the BBC programme Shark which we recorded especially for him.
5. Chad Valley 2 in 1 Colour in Castle

As mentioned above E has been off school with chickenpox and has been housebound for the last week. I picked up this colour in castle from Argos in the sale and it has been keeping the boys busy the last couple of days. They have been having great fun having picnics inside too!
That’s us for June – what were your favourites?

![[AD] The sun has finally made an appearance and the boys have been making the most of it by spending it
in the garden.
They’re go-to is always football and they’ve been trying to improve their aim and accuracy with the new Messi Foldable Footlball goal from the #MessiTrainingSystem range.
I love the fact the goal is foldable, making it easy to store away when not in use. It is also lightweight so you can effortlessly pack it up and take it to the park or to a friend’s house.
The Messi Foldable Football Goal retails at £36 and can be purchased from @argos
