Disney on Ice – Worlds of Enchantment
It’s been a manic run-up to Christmas with lots to do but as I sit here and write this on Boxing Day we *somehow* managed to get through it all!
We were invited to Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment at The O2 on Wednesday which was perfect timing for us to do something Christmassy before the big day. The boys love any excuse to be able to go on the train and tube into London so they were super excited when we told them where we were going.
Disney on Ice – Worlds of Enchantment features three popular Disney stories: Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen. The show started off with Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy who introduced the show. As soon as the Toy Story segment started my boys were mesmerised. It was great to see so many of the characters from Toy Story being brought to life on ice.

We were then taken under the sea to visit The Little Mermaid and hear a few favourite songs from the story before there was an 20 minute interval. The break was just enough time for E to visit the toilet and for us to grab some candy floss and ice cream treats.
The second half of the show started with Disney Cars – this was the boys favourite part. We were in Radiator Springs and it was incredible to see Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater and others on ice with special fire effects thrown in too.
The grand finale ended in Arendelle with the Frozen story re-told and of course it wouldn’t be complete without Elsa singing “Let it Go” and the Ice Palace that was re-created was magical.
Tips for visiting the show
- Arrive at least half an hour before the show begins to allow time to enter the arena and find your seats. If you are bringing a buggy, again you will need to allow time to drop this off at the buggy park
- There are only two lifts in the arena, so again if you are bringing a buggy this is something to be made aware of.
- Your own food and drink cannot be brought into the arena
- Food and snacks are not cheap. We paid £3.50 for a tub of chocolate ice cream and £11 for bag of candy floss.
Having been to the show last year (100 Years of magic) I have to say I felt this years show was bigger, better and more suited to both boys and girls. Last year there was a huge Princess section which the boys simply got bored with but there is a much better mix this time round. Worlds of Enchantment is hugely entertaining – and not just for the children. I thoroughly enjoyed the show too and found myself immersed in it all. M who is almost 3 sat still in his own seat for the entire 2 hour show which is pretty much unheard of!
Disney on Ice: Worlds of Enchantment is on at the O2 until 3 January and tickets start from £24.

* We received tickets to Disney on Ice in exchange for this review. All opinions are my own.

![[AD] The sun has finally made an appearance and the boys have been making the most of it by spending it
in the garden.
They’re go-to is always football and they’ve been trying to improve their aim and accuracy with the new Messi Foldable Footlball goal from the #MessiTrainingSystem range.
I love the fact the goal is foldable, making it easy to store away when not in use. It is also lightweight so you can effortlessly pack it up and take it to the park or to a friend’s house.
The Messi Foldable Football Goal retails at £36 and can be purchased from @argos

This sounds fantastic. We really love anything Disney and I hope to take my daughter back to Disney on Ice in the future. We have not been since 2013 and it is a fabulous show. 🙂 Angela
Sounds amazing! I wanted to get Ellis tickets for Christmas but ran out of pennies. I took Hayden a year ago and whilst he did like it, we were a it late, and going into the dark arena petrified him, I had to hold him (tight) the whole time. I think Ellis would love it, and I will definitely be taking him to the next show! xx
This show sounds and looks fantastic. We have been to the Disney on Ice before but that was about 2 years ago I think and one of the parts was about Tangled and Bella loved it. She stayed with her eyes wide opened the entire show. I would love to take both girls next year. Love the faces of your boys. They look fascinated!! So cute!! 🙂 xx
Oh this looks amazing! I’ll have to look out for what they do next. I think I’d love it as much as my kids.
This is the third review of this and other than the crazy cost of food and drink they all make it sound amazing. I think I am going to add it to next year’s Christmas wish list 🙂
Ah Disney on Ice was fantastic wasn’t it! we went a few weeks ago and had so much fun! 🙂
This looks fantastic. I’m not a fan of Disney but I think I’d quite enjoy it. Shame about the usual hiking up of prices in larger venues.
