Summer Giveaway: Win a Nintendo Switch Lite

The summer holidays are here! How are you going to keep the kids entertained for six weeks? I am under no illusion that they will be spending a good chunk of time on their devices playing games with their friends. Mine are both at that age now where they game online so I have to embrace it.

I have teamed up with a group of bloggers to bring you an opportunity to win a Nintendo Switch Lite. We have a Switch in our house and it’s used regularly for Mario Kart sessions, Smash Bros and more recently Just Dance! Read on to find out more about the Nintendo Switch Lite we are giving away and how you can go about entering.

Good luck!

A Nintendo Switch Lite is a smaller and more compact version of the Nintendo Switch. So although you cannot use the lite for playing games on the Tv, it is much better for travelling. As it is smaller, it is also better for smaller hands to be able to hold and play it.

The Nintendo Switch Lite retails at £199.99 and the games are bought separately. You can buy them from the Nintendo shop online if you want a digital download. Or most supermarkets or toy shops sell them as a physical game.

The screen is 5.5 inches in size, if you compare it to an iPhone 12 for size, you can see that it is slightly smaller than the phone. But it also has a 720p touch display which are awesome specs for playing games. it also comes in grey, coral, yellow and blue. So there are a wide variety of colours if you need to buy a few for the different members of the family. You get to choose the colour when you order the console*.

The battery lasts between 3 – 7 hours and you can add a memory card for extra storage of games. You can usually get a cheap memory card from Amazon.

  1. I would absolutely love the chance to win this for my younger sibling who has just come out of hospital for self harm and suicide attempts at the age of 15:(

  2. I will give the switch to my dad so he can play with my nephew while he is away from home for a few months

  3. I’m tempted to keep this for myself! But I think it would make a great birthday present for my nephew in October! 🙂

How to make a forty something mum, popular with the 12yr old son? Give her a Nintendo Switch so she can start playing Mario Karts with him or even join him on Fortnite if hes lucky, just so he gets a few wins lol. This popular mum may even share with the other half too for some brownie points and let him play Fifa or Snooker once in a while or maybe just take over on the Fortnite front. Now that’s a plan!

  5. I’d love to win this. All my kids have Nintendo Switch consoles but they never let me have a go because they are meanie bums

  6. I’ll be keeping it for myself for a while at least before giving it to anyone. Been wanting to play Zelda for a long while.

  7. Christine Wilson

My daughter so she can play animal crossing with all her cousins and her nanna as we all live so far from one another this would be great to keep them interactive with each other

  8. I would give it to my daughter to play with as she has asked for a Nintendo for ages now 🙂 She can’t wait to play Mario cart on it x

  9. Christina Palmer

My youngest grandson Harley who loves gaming. This would also be ideal for him to bring to ours when he comes for a sleepover.

  10. I know this might sound selfish in comparison to others’ comments, but in the case that I win, I would keep this for myself. The reason I want a Switch in the first place is because I wanted to play Pokemon. Pokemon has been a big part of my childhood in providing me relaxation when I was hospitalized for Appendicitis. Fingers crossed!

  11. I would gift this to my daughter Esme for her 7th Birthday in November. She loves her tablet and is getting into playing games on technology like her big sisters Xbox, so for her to have her own gaming console would make her a very happy girl indeed ❤️
