Monthly Marvels #1
Being a blogger I get sent some lovely things from time to time that deserve a mention so here is a new feature on my blog where I will pick some of my favourites to spread the love.
Spilly Spoon
If you’ve ever had to try and dispense medicine to small children then you will know that this can be quite tricky because they just don’t stay still. My boys hated using the syringe when they were younger and whenever I used the good old fashion spoon that was supplied, inevitably the medicine would end up everywhere but their mouths as they would turn their heads or try and grab the spoon to do it themselves. I would always end up with sticky mess on my hands – all this and this was when attempting to give medicine during the day!
The Spilly spoon is a fab new way of making this whole process easier. Approved by the BPA this award-winning spoon makes dispensing medicine easy, you simply pour the medicine into the handle and then pour into their mouths. So simple yet brilliant and best of all? No-spillage!
The Spilly spoon is available from July 2015 in Mothercare stores, £4.99
Letterland Sound Cards
These Letterland Letter Sound Cards are a great start into the world of learning phonics. E’s school base their phonics learning on Letterland so these are a great to help him learn at home. These would also be suitable for any pre-schooler
Available from the Letterland website, £9.99
Dermocare plasters
Dermocare plasters are washproof and breathable and the designs are simply stunning. E is a huge shark fan at the moment and LOVED the Ocean Life plasters. I also sported a very fashionable shark plaster last week when I cut my finger and can testify that they are definitely washproof!
Available to buy through Amazon and Ocado from £2.99
