Snow, the cold weather and driving
The weather has really dropped this week and apparently there is a possibility of snow on the way? Keeping warm in this cold weather is essential and I Iike to layer up as much as I can.
I love the idea of a snow day. We get to stay at home and build snowmen and have snowball fights, but the reality though is rather different isn’t it?
It takes an age to actually get dressed and ready to go out and build said snowman. Inevitably I can’t find where the hats, gloves, scarves and wellies are and when I do find them I’m missing items or they don’t match.
I have lovely visions in my head of us all having fun in the snow but I know from experience the boys last exactly 5 minutes before getting bored or start moaning they are cold! So we end up traipsing back home to unravel the millions of layers we put on.
Perfect.
Driving in snow can be pretty dangerous too especially if you have the children in the car.
There are some great top tips for driving in the snow on the RAC website and Pryers have also created a very useful infographic for winter driving to ensure we stay safe whilst driving this winter.
Do you have any tips for driving in the winter?

Yep, with you on this. The idea of it all sounds very lovely and exciting but the reality is a cold, soggy mess! I hope it doesn’t snow! Miserable sod that I am… 🙂 Good Post!! x
