E was back at school on Tuesday and as predicted, he had loads of fun and enjoyed spending time with his friends and seeing his teacher. After so many months of homeschooling them both, it feels rather quiet when one of them is at school for the day.

We’re enjoying being able to spend more time outdoors and managed to pre-book some tickets to visit a National Trust site with friends at the weekend. We went to Uppark House and Garden for the first time and although the weather was a little hit and miss, it was just really nice to see our friends in person for the first time since January rather than seeing them through a screen on a Zoom call. We also met their new pup, a fox red lab called Felix – the boys were absolutely smitten and the questions have now started ask to when we can get a dog too!
