A weekend clearout – Living Arrows – 10/52

Why do the weekend always fly by so quickly? You just get into the swing of things and then before you know it, its time to go back to work and school.

We had a busy week and with Pancake Day on Tuesday, the boys were mega excited to have pancakes for pudding! They ended up having a bit of a late night as we’d arrange to view a house at 6pm so it was a late dinner by the time we got home.

Mr H and I loved the house we saw. In my mind, I’ve already moved in. But, we are still very much weighing up our options. As much as we love the house and it ticks many boxes for us we’re still not 100% and feel we need to see what else is around for the price bracket we are looking at. Not to mention the work we need to do on our house if we do decide to take the plunge and put it on the market….

E had a busy end to the school week. He had a play date on Thursday after school so he could practice the song he and some friends had made up for the school talent show. The second-round auditions were on Friday. He also had his class assembly too where he was playing the ukulele. I don’t know what it is about school assemblies but they always make me teary!

We spent the weekend clearing out our shed, going to the tip and buying a few bits and pieces from Homebase and B&Q. Nothing massively exciting which as you can see the boys were thrilled about but it meant we at least made a start on a bit of spring cleaning.

The boys spent the time playing football in the garden and bouncing on the trampoline.

I’m sharing weekly photos of the boys to celebrate their childhood and linking up to the Living Arrows linky

  1. Oh moving house – exciting times! I know exactly what you mean – weighing up the options and wondering if there’s more for your money in a different house. I hope you end up working out what will be best x
