Kids Eat Free October Half Term 2025 – Full UK List and Tips
Half term’s creeping up again — how? I swear, September just started, and suddenly the calendar’s shouting break next week. The boys are already counting down. E keeps insisting he’ll be revising for his mocks — though let’s be honest, there’ll be more YouTube than textbooks involved — and his brother’s just happy to have a few slow mornings without me shouting up the stairs. I am ready for the kids eat free October half term 2025 deals, so we can all get out of the house, and I don’t have to cook.

Now they’ve both got their own rooms, they hardly see each other. Which is great, in theory, but the house feels different. Quieter. Less of the random bickering that used to fill the evenings. I’ll take it though — at least until I realise I haven’t seen either of them since breakfast. Still, I’m hoping we’ll get out for a meal or two. A change of scene, no washing up, and some proper time together before they disappear back into their screens. They might pretend they don’t want to go, but food’s the one thing they’ll always show up for.
Half term officially runs Monday 27th to Friday 31st October 2025, but a few schools have inset days either side — so it can easily spill into a longer break. Worth checking your emails before you start planning anything ambitious.
And if you’re staying local, there’s actually loads on offer this time around — cafés, pubs, even big chains running kids eat free or £1 meal deals. A small win for the parents holding things together through one more school break.

Why These Offers Are Worth Knowing
Because honestly, by day three, you’re going to want an excuse to leave the house. The weather’s hit-and-miss, everyone’s grazing all day, and if you’re anything like me, the fridge can’t keep up. Heading out for lunch — even just once — resets the mood.
And these offers, kids eat free half term October 2025 ? They make it easier to say yes. You get a proper meal, they get something that isn’t toast, and you don’t need to do mental maths over the bill. Some of the deals last beyond half term too, so you can space them out or stash one for a weekend when everyone’s stir-crazy.

How old do kids have to be?
Most places go up to under-10s, though a few stretch it to under-12s (Las Iguanas, The Real Greek, Marco Pierre White). A couple are stricter — Future Inns is just under-5s. Always check the details for each individual kids eat free half term October 2025 deal before you promise anything.
Do you have to buy an adult meal?
Usually, yes. Bella Italia, Dunelm and others require an adult main or minimum spend, while ASDA’s the rare exception — £1 kids’ meals all day, no adult spend needed.
Are the offers all day?
Some are, some aren’t. Angus Steakhouse runs 12–5pm, Morrisons is all day, Bills only runs weekdays. Best to check before you go.
Half term used to mean playground trips and messy crafts. Now it’s revision plans and empty snack cupboards. But at least a family meal out — even just one — still pulls everyone to the same table. No chores, no arguing over who finishes the milk. Just food, conversation, and maybe a pudding or two.

![[AD] The sun has finally made an appearance and the boys have been making the most of it by spending it
in the garden.
They’re go-to is always football and they’ve been trying to improve their aim and accuracy with the new Messi Foldable Footlball goal from the #MessiTrainingSystem range.
I love the fact the goal is foldable, making it easy to store away when not in use. It is also lightweight so you can effortlessly pack it up and take it to the park or to a friend’s house.
The Messi Foldable Football Goal retails at £36 and can be purchased from @argos
