I’m on a mission this year to redecorate our house this year. I’ve gotten itchy feet over all the things we want to do which seems to take time to plan (I’m impatient!) So I’ve decided to start looking at quick wins. Our bathroom doesn’t need too much work but is a room in which I can instantly give a mini-makeover to buy adding in some new accessories.

The main thing that probably needs looking at is our bathroom mirror which was custom cut for us in our local glass shop. Over the years black spots have started to appear around the edges which for me instantly makes the bathroom feel a bit grotty. I have seen that you can buy Acrylic Mirrors from SimplyPlastics which not only works out to be cheaper but is also safer and easier to put on the wall that a glass mirror.

Currently the bathroom consists of light beige tiles, a black tiled floor and the only other colour we have are the brown and beige towels on our towel rail and the boy’s bath toys!  I would like to add pops of colour to the bathroom.

I love shopping in Matalan for things like this and would love to add the following items to brighten up our bathroom.
