With Father’s Day just over two weeks away I have been racking my brains trying to come up with something a bit different to buy Mr H. I’m pretty sure he’s had enough gifts of socks and pants (although you do always need them!)

When BeerBods contacted me and offered the chance to review their service I thought it would be right up Mr H’s street and would make a fab Father’s Day Gift too.

BeerBods is an online beer subscription service and is akin to an online beer-tasting club. The idea behind it is that you receive 12 beers through the post every 12 weeks. You drink one beer a week during a live online tasting session every Thursday and then share your views with other like-minded people. As well as this, you are emailed each week with a bit of history about that week’s beer.

Gift subscription starts from £36 for 12 weeks and now is the perfect time to gift a subscription to your dad or partner.

I received our subscription box within a few days of purchasing through their website. The box contained a selection of beer, ale and stout from around the world.

I had to gift this to Mr H slightly early for Father’s Day so he could join in online with the weekly beers. He’s a week in so far and although he wasn’t a fan of the taste of the first beer (which was an ale) he was interested in reading all about its history. However, he can’t wait to try out ShinDigger Pils which is an Australian Pale Ale and loves the fact he is able to try out different beers that are from small independent breweries.
