Active outdoor fun at The Little Welly
I don’t know about you but with the freak weather recently where we went from seeing a peek of Spring to snow within a week, I am totally ready for the warmer weather. I have to admit, we’re not great at heading outdoors in the Winter. It all seems too much of an effort to have to wrap up warm only for the boys to then moan about how cold it is.
However, with Spring imminent, we’re now beginning to plan our activities and days out. I think it’s really important for children to be active and luckily for me, my boys love being outdoors. This is where The Little Welly comes in.
The Little Welly Obstacle Course and Festival
The Little Welly is a family-friendly event that is all about getting children active outdoors and having fun. The event will see kids and adults alike, running, jumping, swinging and crawling their way through 30 obstacles over a 3km course, all whilst having lots of fun along the way.
And that’s not all, there’s heaps more fun in store with activities such as Laser Tag, Den Building, Pony Rides and Zorbing as well as live music and food to fill your hungry bellies.
I think it’s going to be a great day out that will be jam-packed full of fun.
Where?
You’ll be pleased to know that The Little Welly will be taking place at four different venues over the next few months.
- Wintershall Estate, Surrey (12th-13th May)
- Henley-On-Thames (9-10th June)
- County Showground, Herts (7-8 July) and
- St. Clere Estate, Kent (22-23 Sept)
Tickets can be bought online via The Little Welly website and costs £19.50 for children and £9.50 for adults. Children under 4 go free but are not permitted on the obstacle course. However, there is a toddler course they can try as well as plenty of other activities to them entertained.
The Little Welly is the UK’s biggest children’s obstacle course and a one of a kind experience that has been specially designed for children aged 4 and over. I can’t wait to see what my boys think of it.
Will you and your children give it a try?

This looks like so much fun, I love that it’s aimed at kids having fun outdoors
I love the idea of this although our little one isn’t the right age yet really. It’s a little bit of a journey for us but ok for a day out.
This is so cool! My four would absolutely love this! I’m also ready for spring to come and hopefully it will be there when the obstacle courses are on
Oh blimey, how much fun does that look? It’s a bit of a trek for us so we might have to wait until there’s one a bit closer but I know the boys would love it x
