Review: Penclic Mouse B2
As a Designer by day and blogger at night I am often in front of my computer for a fair amount of time. Typing, editing and of course using a mouse.
Like with most computers users I worry about RSI so when I was approached by Penclic to review their Penclic Mouse B2 I happily agreed.
Penclic produces a range of ergonomically designed products with the sole aim of being more comfortable to use, enabling you to be more efficient and productive.
The Penclic Mouse B2 is a pen and mouse all rolled into one and is suitable for both Mac and PC users. The mouse comes with a rechargeable battery and a micro USB cable for recharging when the battery is low.
Set up is super easy (you just connect via Bluetooth) and I managed to have the mouse up and running within a matter of minutes.
It took a while to get used to using the Penclic but with practice and a little patience, I mastered it.
The Penclic is essentially a pen connected to a mouse, the bottom part can be moved around as you would a traditional mouse. The pen part has five buttons and a scroll wheel with different click functions like right click, left click, middle click and so on. The main difference is that the Penclic mouse puts less strain on your muscles and allows you to use your mouse more comfortably. As someone who uses their computer on a daily basis for a crazy amount of hours, this can only be a good thing.
I’ve been using the Penclic Mouse B2 for a couple of months now and I don’t think I would switch back to a traditional mouse now. Not only is it functional but it also looks rather stylish too!
Depending on your computer/laptop setup, there are three different types of Penclic Mice available. The B2 (this version) which is connected via Bluetooth, the D2 which is corded and the R2 which is wireless.
If like me, you spend a vast amount of time on your computer, or you already suffer from computer-related RSI, it would be worth investing in the Penclic Mouse which would help ease your symptoms.
The Penclic Mouse B2 currently retails at £79.99 and can be bought either direct from Penclic or through Amazon.
*I received the Penclic Mouse B2 in exchange for this post.
