How to make your daughter’s first birthday party very special
Most parents look forward to their child’s first birthday with much excitement and joy. This is the occasion when parents dress their babies in pretty, cute, and colourful outfits. There are many ways to make your daughter’s first birthday an unforgettable day for her. Start Planning early to ensure that you have everything prepared for your party. Here are some tips on how you can plan for an enjoyable party.

Create an amazing party invitation and announcement
The first thing that people will see about the party is the invitation. Take some time to create a very unique invite, even if you’re just using plain paper and markers or crayons. This will set the tone for the entire celebration and make it all seem to like it’s really special.
Along with your daughter’s name, include her age as well because this is very important information. For example, you can create an announcement like “Please join us in celebrating our little princess Charlotte who turns 1 year old” or something similar that gets across the idea that lots of people should come to celebrate with her on her big day.
Decide on a theme
For your daughter’s first birthday party, select one theme and stick to it. This way, the decorations will all match and you won’t have to purchase extra supplies. You can either choose her favourite cartoon character or a more traditional colour like pink or purple. For example, Mickey mouse is a good option for a little girl’s 1st birthday party. In this case, you can use colours like red, black, and white. Make sure these are the dominant colours of your decorations.
Use cake decorations that feature various characters from Disney or make a stunning cake yourself. You can also buy some mickey mouse stuff toys to scatter around the venue. A cute idea is to create Mickey Mouse balloons on wire with helium balloon sticks.
Make sure the room is spacious enough for the guests
For a one-year-old, you can expect to have about 10-20 guests. If the space where the party is being held is not very spacious, then you should consider moving things around so that there’s enough room for everyone. You might need to move furniture or hang some decorations from the ceiling to create more open spaces. Think of creative ways that your daughter will be able to play without feeling crowded by people and other objects in any given area of the room.
Have a lot of activities for kids to do at the party
One of the best gifts that you can give to your daughter on her first birthday is a fun-filled birthday party. The memories made on this one special day will remain with all those who are present throughout the entire year. It makes sense to ensure that everyone has a great time and enjoys to their heart’s content, to make it a memorable day for them.
You should plan for various activities to keep the kids busy so that they don’t misbehave or disturb others during the party. You should also have age-appropriate games ready to play with children from different age groups because it is important to keep them occupied.

Have plenty of food and drinks available
Your daughter is at the age when she’s just beginning to develop a sense of taste and smell. This means that if you can get her to eat or drink something, then it’ll be very rewarding for you and memorable for her. For this reason, having plenty of food and drinks available is very important in making your daughter’s first birthday party special. You can consider hiring a caterer to do the food for the party. However, you should also be sure there are plenty of snacks that guests can help themselves to throughout the day, such as chips, pretzels, fruit, and veggies.
For drinks, you can hire a bartender to serve lemonade stand-style drinks. Of course, all the children will want to take some snacks home with them so make sure that you have enough food made so that everyone can take something home. Don’t forget the adults either, because much like children they want to take some treats back for their family too.
Keep it simple and organised
You’ll want everything at her birthday party to feel special and memorable for her, while also keeping it simple so that everything runs smoothly throughout the day. This means you should come up with some ideas about what to do at the party and how it’ll be organised, without spending too much money on decorations, food or any other expenses that don’t need to be there. For example, if your daughter loves animals then you could hire a local petting zoo company to bring some animals like bunnies for her and her guests to play with and take pictures of (and maybe even hold). Kids love animals and having them around for pictures will make everyone very happy.
You can also consider hiring a performer who can walk around dressed as one of your daughter’s favourite characters or someone who plays children’s songs on an acoustic guitar. A performance like this is especially great because it can be done without a large budget and it will bring everyone together for an entertaining show.
You should work on coming up with ways that guests can get involved in the party. However, it’s important to keep things simple so that there aren’t too many activities happening at the same time and people get confused about what they should do or where they should be. This is especially true for younger children who can feel overwhelmed when too many things are happening around them at once. With these tips in mind, your daughter’s first birthday party will turn out to be very special for both her and her guests.

in the garden.
They’re go-to is always football and they’ve been trying to improve their aim and accuracy with the new Messi Foldable Footlball goal from the #MessiTrainingSystem range.
I love the fact the goal is foldable, making it easy to store away when not in use. It is also lightweight so you can effortlessly pack it up and take it to the park or to a friend’s house.
The Messi Foldable Football Goal retails at £36 and can be purchased from @argos
