Creating a Blogger’s workspace

A dedicated workspace is important when you work from home. I am desperate to carve out some space for one in my house as I currently work on the dining room table. We have a box room, with an Ikea Day Bed in it for when we have guests over so that doesn’t leave any room for a desk. One day, when we finally manage to get our loft extension done I am hoping to create a small office space there so I have put together a little wishlist.

A desk

You can’t have an office space without a desk, right? I love the look of this desk with drawers from Lions Homes. I think it would be perfect for blogging on and has enough drawers to store any paperwork.

A lamp

No desk is complete without a lamp. I bought this light for E to read in bed but it can also be doubled up as a desk lamp and has three settings. It’s rechargeable by USB and the perfect size for a small office space, best of all? I think it’s rather stylish too.

Motivational quotes

No bloggers workspace can be without motivational quotes. Not On The High Street have a range of beautiful prints – idea for adorning the walls by your desk.

Notebooks

I have stacks of them – you can never have enough. Pukka Pads do the job nicely although you can’t beat pretty coloured ones like these from Tangible stationery.

Pin board

The perfect space to pin your important tasks and to-do lists. I love this marble look one from Wayfair.

Fairy Lights

These are great for brightening up your workspace. These Photo Peg Clip Lights would be great for popping up photos and to-do lists. I like the fact it’s so easily interchangeable too.
